The only souvenirs we brought home from Vegas were M & M’s for the kids. I know this because Ellen already had a fever before my plane ever left Vegas, which means I didn’t bring the plague back in my suitcase.
But it still happened.
We ended up getting home in time on Friday to make a late night ER trip with Ellen for a 105 fever. She’s fine now. But I have a less dramatic version of her plague. I did my best to take a sick day today. Andrew worked from home and I laid on the sofa to monitor the chaos.
Finn made it his mission to keep me… entertained?
Or maybe he made me his new toy.
He started by storing his animal crackers in my hair.
After his nap, he returned with his mouth full of cookie and used my pillow as a napkin. Repeatedly.
He’s an adorable little tyrant.
His favorite thing to do was zoom his push toy back and forth across my bedroom floor before ramming it into my floor length mirror.
The truth is, Finn has terrible bedside manner. But his cheeks make up for it. Matter of fact, I think he keeps Magical Healing Powers within those jowls… along with several cookies he’s saving to smear across my pillow.
