My ALL time favorite is gingerbread cookies!!! I’ve worked on recipes for years and last year finally mastered it!! These are the BEST….perfect chewiness!!

    Big Soft Ginger Cookies

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 3/4 cup margarine, softened
2 tsp ground ginger 1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda 1 egg
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 cup molasses
1/2 tsp ground cloves Colored sugar for decorating
    1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and molasses. Slowly add in the dry ingredient mixture until all is combined. Shape dough into walnut sized balls, dip tops in colored sugar. Place cookies 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

You must make these…they will not disappoint!!

  19. Tracy says:

I love Snicker-Doodle cookies! But I’m so not a baker; so it’s really rare that I get to splurge on one of these delights.

  20. Kristi S. says:

hmm…that’s a toughy. I like meringues, chocolate chip, oatmeal (no rasins!), lots of different ones. Cowboy cookies and Dish pan cookies are great too!

  21. Mary B says:

Hands down chocolate chip. My recipe is the one on the bag of Aldi chips. So good!

  22. Tara says:

Anything soft and homemade that I did not have to make!

  23. Niki says:

Pretty much any that are homemade. Store bought aren’t worth the calories ;) . I usually make chocolate chip for my boys, they satisfy all the different/picky taste.

  24. Rebekah says:

I love a good classic chocolate chip cookie that’s still a little unbanked in the center.

  25. Kate says:

    Chocolate chip… OK, maybe I like them all… :)

  26. Rebekah says:

*unbaked….not sure what unbanked would taste like :)

  27. Jill says:

My favorite cookie is Oatmeal Raisin.

  28. Karen says:

If I’m doing the baking, I’ll go with break-and-bake snickerdoodles. (Clearly, I don’t do from scratch very often.) If I’m just eating and not baking, definitely chocolate chip or peanut butter.

  29. Staci says:

Would love to win! And if everyone else is sharing their favorite cookie, I will go ahead and say that I recently discovered making peanut butter cookies and then slathering them with Nutella. Be still my heart!

  30. DannyT says:

    Sugar!

  31. Lisa Blakesley says:

Iced Orange Dream Cookies! And a hot cup of tea.

  32. Grace D. says:

    Chocolate chip. :)

  33. Julie says:

    Peanut butter chocolate chip.

  34. Sara says:

Are we listing favorite cookies?? If so, I’m going to need a chapter book and illustrations. I’ll start with chocolate chip WITH walnuts.

  35. kristin says:

    Caramel Apple Spice cookies!

  36. Deidre says:

Chocolate chip….just slightly under-cooked so still super soft and still warm and melty…well that is if there is any dough actually left to cook if we haven’t eaten it all….. ;)

  37. Tera says:

    Oatmeal walnut chocolate chip
