When God sent Jesus, he chose a time of great activity in the Roman world. There was chaos and bustling as everyone travelled to their hometowns for the census. Then, when the entire world was distracted, God sent Redemption to earth.
He announced His Son, not to the ones who were busy, but to those who were still.
Waiting.
Watching.

I find such truth in this post, LL. Isn’t it the same way today? God is still very much at work, but the world is in such chaos that they’re missing it.
Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve been so distracted with activity that I miss You working, too.
