It’s been a typical sort of weekend here at the House of Vitafam. Which was refreshing, after all the hub-bub. But when I say typical, I hope you understand that “typical” means “full of incidents.” I have compiled a list for your enjoyment.
In the past 48 hours:
- I broke a jar of Vanilla Beans.
- I cut myself on a cheese grater.
- Sam broke a plastic bowl. (Which takes skill, I admit.)
- I cut myself on a picture frame.
- I broke a picture frame.
- Willa spit-up on my church clothes.
- Ian threw up at breakfast.
- Ian threw up in the hallway on the way to the bathroom. (He’s got a cold and the congestion messes with his sensitive innards. Be not afraid, we do NOT have a real plague.)
- Sam got a bloody nose and before he told us about it, decided to wipe it on the couch AND on the ottoman. (Then when Andrew used his sock to staunch the flow of blood, our living room looked like a small massacre had taken place.)
- Andrew burned himself with exploding butter while making me popcorn. (What a guy!)
- Sam colored on the floor in my closet with a crayon. Exhibit A -
And after looking at this list, I do believe we’re all quite ready to see Monday roll around. Can you blame us?

Sounds like your weekend has been pretty exciting. There is never a dull moment with lots of littles around and a mama who’s had lots of babies!

I so sympathize! This weekend at our house involved a poop incident on the living room floor (also one on the couch), a broken - shattered all over the tile kitchen floor- wine glass, a broken candle thing, runny noses, and the clothes on the clothesline got rained on.
Normally I hate Mondays, but so far everyone is sleeping in and I’m just enjoying the peacefulness! Hope your Monday is extraordinarily smooth as well.

It must be something in your house. I don’t remember these people AT ALL. But my favorite incident is a tie btw the bloody nose and the closet incident. LOL.

Sounds like we had a similar weekend:). I spilled 3 cups of water yesterday and my husband spilled 1. That’s not even including the mishaps of our 4 children. I feel really normal right now. Thanks

I learned a long time ago that crayola.com has an awesome Stain Removal Tips area on their site. Find it under “Support.” It covers most (all?) of their products and potential circumstances. Check it out!
And I’m glad everyone survived the weekend!
